You most likely found this blog because you are, or were, a fan of his tweets, which consisted of political commentary and analysis, information about his ongoing personal projects, data analysis, assorted interests, and lighthearted shitposting. Or maybe you just liked the fact that he didn't like politicians you also dislike.

Except for that last bit, this blog is more of the same. The idea of getting away from twitter is to do political commentary and analysis which is divorced from the daily news cycle, from personalities, from parties, and from the general toxicity of modern politics. To get back to his roots of talking about politics, economics, and science in the *abstract*

Although Andrew (as he prefers to be referred to) appears to you in the guise of your conscience, Jiminy Cricket-(also the official Political Animal of the erstwhile New Free Soil Party)-He is, in fact, a real dude. He likes obsolete and modern technology. He posts about eclectic topics. Follow this blog if any of that sounds cool to you, too.
